We give you more programs to choose from, including Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA), Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT), Health Care Aide (HCA) and Unit Clerk / Medical Office Assistant (UC/MOA) programs. We give you more experience. Although we work on a fast track basis, our students have more training time than any other school in the area. Plus, leading partners—including Alberta Health Services, Calgary Laboratory Services—contribute to our curriculum.

We can find a practicum that’s located conveniently near you. Our placements include prestigious hospitals, including U of A, Misericordia, Grey Nuns, Royal Alexandra, Chinook Regional hospital, Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, and more. ABES has more options closer to home. Lethbridge colleges do not have an MLA program. Instead, go to school in Calgary and then return to your home town for our practicum.
